Ricky Williams resisted ?urge? to smoke pot

Ricky Williams admitted he was tempted to turn to marijuana again. But the mercurial Miami Dolphins running back apparently did not be lacking in respect of to endanger. the remainder of his conduct.

Williams told the Herald that he battled his bait by meditating, a new hobby of his.

?I?ve done a lot of work at understanding myself a little bit more,? he said. ?So I recognize was just a result of the feeling of being not parsimonious, and I was just trying to maximize it.

?And I realize that I really enjoy meditating and when I can circumstance home and lie in my room and meditate, I can get the same feeling.?

A former Pro Bowler, Williams has played in just 16 games since the end of the 2003 season. He retired in August 2004, when he already faced a four-game suspension and a US$650,000 fine for violating the NFL?sitting substance-abuse policy.
