A dear friend of mine is up with respect to a do job-work at Owens and Minor. The company is based in Virginia, only she will have existence working in a Midwest office. She hasn’t smoked in over 30 days. She will be required to take a drug test before the end of October, however, a tidings is sweeping her office that O&M does hair testing, in which case, she’s cooked.
I called O&M HQ and asked the receptionist if the company does pre-employ drug screens. She said yes. I asked if it was hair or urine. She said it depended on the position. I asked if hair testing was for safety-sensitive positions. Read more
